Video can be included in your ePoster PDF.
If you don't know how to insert the video into your PDF by using the full version of Adobe Acrobat (not just Acrobat Reader) then you can send us your video and PDF as separate files and we can do it for you. Be sure to leave a space on the page where your video will fit.
You can upload all files simultaneously along with special instructions here.
- VIDEO FORMAT: Most authors send H.264 encoded MP4 files. Other compatible video formats include MOV, M4V, 3GP, and 3G2, and SWF. A reasonable size is up to 60MB per minute.
- LOOPING VIDEOS: The video will stop at the end of the file. The reader can hit play again. You may want publish the video to play a number of times in a row. For example you might publish a 4 second video as a 2 minute video by repeating those 4 seconds 30 times and exporting it as a single 2 minute mp4.
- If you don't know how to do this just send us the short video and ask us to loop it for a few minutes.
- AUDIO: As of yet, no arrangement have been made to include headphones or audio speakers at the kiosks. Please let us know if your audio is essential to your ePoster so we can bring it up with the event chair/managers.
- UPLOAD LARGE FILES: If our upload file fails to manage your large video you can send us a link where we can download it from a service like Dropbox, Google Drive, or WeTransfer.
